Mary Carroll studied design and fine arts in Portland Oregon, with continued courses on hand building and wheel thrown ceramics. She has always been interested in art and inspired by makers. However, it wasn't until working with clay that she felt like she really connected with a medium and had a desire to seriously pursue it.
